SVCD play problem

hey all, i got a samsung dvd S224 and when i go to play a SVCD i can hear it but i cant see no picture i burned the svcd as a vcd with the VCD header trick using nero at 12x on Vivastar CD-R. Does any one know why it wont play?

Does your DVD player play SVCD's ?

Have you made any SVCD's before ?

I burned it as a plain svcd without a vcd header and now it works but i have to press button 1 for it to play.
