  1. I have this AVI file that no matter what program I use it always has an error when I use TMPGEnc it act like it is way to big, but then I can go into the select range and set the end frame(to the actually end frame) which shrinks it, but then I have this really long number error. I have also tried using DVDit PE which just give me a unknown error please HELP!

    TMPGEnc doesnt care how big your files is .. but what IS the error you are seeing - it may help to know ..

  3. Did you happen to get the file from a P2P network? If so, you should accept the possiblity that you may never be able to get this file to behave properly, but just to be sure:

    Make sure you have all the latest codecs that relate to this type of file. If you can't play it, you can't encode it. This is the only solution I can think of.

    If, on the other hand, you produced this AVI yourself, how so?
