Making templates for Tmpgenc?

How can I forcefully save the resolution settings and aspect ratio settings in a template so that when I load a new file, it doesn't automatically change the settings depending on the input file?

I presume you know how to load the unlock template, adjust the template, and save it under a new name? If so, load up the new template into a text editor and alter the relevant ReadOnly = False to ReadOnly = True.
