when i am converting The Fast and The Furious using TMPGEnc, i got the whole movie so i have to use the clip source option to split it. However, the audio line does not move. I tried another DIVX (AVI) movie and it still didn't work. Then i used a regular avi movie and it the audio line did show that there was audio. i need to know what to do.

1,First make sure you have the audio codec's, install the Nimo codec pack. Now try...
If that still gives a problem then you need to save out the audio in Vdub then use that with TMPGEnc
You can also change the DirectShow to a higher priority in TMPGEnc
2
Select options > environmental settings
click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
3
Vdub save audio uncompressed at 44.1Khz
Audio > full processing mode
Audio Compression > PCM (Default)
Audio > Conversion > 44.1Khz
SAVE WAV
4
AC3
Vdub save audio
Audio >Direct stream copy
SAVE WAV
Rename .wav to .AC3 then use "headac3he" to convert to WAV
