Hey, i'm looking for a video capture card, for internet use. I'm basically looking to make some Divx and RM quality. maybe Vcd if i can handle it. I would buy a All in wonder radeon if i had the cash, but i just need something to settle for now.
my system specs are
850 mhz athlon amd
256 mb ram
30 gig hard drive
cable modem
I'm not looking to spend more then $100
I have a Sharp Hi- 8 camera..
And it's going to be for breakdancing footage so it's gonna have alot of action, the movies come fine to vhs, but, i need them for internet use.
CAN anybody help please.

I use a DC10+ for my VHS to AVI capturing. Uses MJPEG so the actual captured AVI is not all that big. Nice and easy software added too.
Do some filtering using VirtualDub for better output.
Later use tools like TMPGEnc to convert the AVI to VCD.
Result is very nice.
I saw it at some stores for about $99
It bought it not so long ago for double that amount.
