I would like to rip one chapter each from about 5 different DVD movies and then make a new dvd with a menu for playing these short demos while preserving the original aspect ratio and ac3 audio. I currently have them in isolated VOB files. Does anyone know of a program that lets you simply drag and drop vob's?

if you demux them to a elemen. mpeg2 m2v file (use TMPGEnc) - you can drop them onto Sonic Foundry Vegas Video (you need to also purchase the optional mpeg plug in) .
program streams will work as is ..
downside is that it will re-render the video when you want to export it .. upside is that you can render it to any sort of video type you want .. including mpeg2 .. but it can do fades and dissolves w/ mpeg clips as well as other transitions..
