Some1 Please Help For Ripping Dvd's

I ripped a dvd(valentine) with CLADDVD XP and it worked fine it then done frameserving through DVD2AVI after that was done i had the 2 files to use in TMPGENC.
It converted to Vcd brilliantly(no errors or no warnings).
I then burnt it with NERO and it burnt perfect(again no errors or warnings)
but it wont play on my dvd player,
it wouldnt play at all and when i put it on my pc to see if i could watch it on that it showed nothin it was just a blank cd.

This is my first time ripping dvds and i followed the instructions from this site (how to fit a whole movie on one cd) and it still dont work.
My dvd Player does play vcds as it has played them b4.

I would really appreciate it if some1 could help.

Did you have simulation checked when buring the CD in Nero?
