    i have a single processor that i can only have either a cdrom or cdrw or dvd rom in it is there anyway to use a dvdrom and a cdrw rom cause i cannot use a cdrw/dvdrw cause i dont have enough money but i have a cdrw drive already and tomarrow i will be getting a dvdrom drive so can i hook up both at once thanks.

    see thats the problem i dont have any free spots all i have is for one drive so can i maybe have my computer open the whole time and put the dvd player on top of my computer deck or not thanks

    yes thats possible as long as you connect your 2 drives together on the same cable (IDE).
