    im using Cinemacraft encoder, and when it finished encoding, it left me with an audio and video file. how would i join the two?

    Use Virtualdub (for AVI) or TMPGEnc (for mpg).
    In Virtualdub open your video and then your audio and make sure Video and Audio setting are set to Direct stream copy.

    If you use TMPGEnc cancel the wizard (if it starts). Go to the File menu and select MPEG Tools... Use simple multiplex to join your video and audio together.
