Avi Question?????

Can u help?
i have a film ((Shrek (DVD RIP - SUPER HIGH QUALITY - NO SUBS).avi.
it plays on my computer but can't get it to convert to mpg.
has anyone had the same problem??
I have tried TMPGEnc and the file is to big for nero to do a straight
burn.

You cant get it to convert , Why ?

You tried TMPGEnc to convert it ?, What happens ?

The file is too big for Nero ? The AVI ?

Since we don't know what your problem is, we have to guess. Then having guessed at just about everything, we usually find out its something more simple. So start by telling us what the problem is.

Shrek is getting on a bit now, I did download that AVI many months ago and made a VCD, so more info please.

Tips
Load into Vdub scan for junk frames
If Vdub complains about the audio, save the audio out as a WAV, which could be AC3 and needs to be converted later. This WAV can then be used with TMPGEnc

Make sure the DirectShow priorities are set higher a value of 4 works well
