I have a large AVI (4gb) that I have captured.
I want to be able to break it up into smaller clips based on keyframes.
Is there any way of automating this process. ie software that detects the change from 1 frame to another and then splits the avi into different clips.
Its taking me ages to go thru this process manually.![]()
Thanks

Vdub is fast anyway
Audio > direct stream copy
Video > direct stream copy
Move to end to get number of frames
2 Split
Goto start, mark start
Goto end frame / 2 (Middle)
Click yellow keyframe back once
mark end
SAVE AVI
Goto end frame / 2
Click yellow keyframe back once
mark start
Goto end
Mark as end
SAVE AVI
