Is there a list somewhere, either here or at nerd-out or anywhere that
shows at least some of the brands of VCR's that you can play a DVD
player through and NOT get the Macro*vision garbage? I am just about
ready to buy a DVD Player and it would be nice to not have to hook up
an RF Modulator and an A-B switch to watch DVD's.
The above items would be needed by me to watch DVD's and/or VHS. I
have only the RF connector on the back of my TV and my VCR is from
1996, so it does not have the correct composite or S-Video jacks in
the back. At least I can listen to movies through the stereo.
Any help, even directions to a thread, would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: My purchasing a DVD player will consist of trying to find the 1meg
version of the Apex 1100W. Any prayers would be appreciated also 8)
