Can't seem to find anything on this so I'm going to post but it is late so I might have missed something.
The problem I got is that with using TMPGEnc to cut and create a VCD from a .avi is that I can't get rif of the borders at the bottom and top of the screen, the only way to get rid of them is to use the no margin option but then it cuts off or stretches the sides out of the viewable screen, any 1 got any idea whats going wrong, maybe its just the settings I really don't know...

If you want to maintain the correct aspect ratio, you either have to live with the black border on the top and bottom (it's called letter boxed), or you will have to crop the sides of the picture to fill the screen to the top and bottom. If not, the people will look very skinny in the video clip because you have stretched the video vertically to fill the screen.
