I read the tutorial here about how to burn a DVD formatted capture(and other photos, chapters, etc.) using DVDit....but it was involving adding the chapters, and added photos etc., etc, and other things that I won't be doing....and was SO confusing for the "simple" process that I'm wanting to know how to do.
I ONLY will be burning a captured family video file in DVD format with my DVD-R(No chaptering, subtitles, photos...or other stuff)and use DVDit software.
would some kind person please explain how to simply put the captured DVD file onto my DVD disk using DVDit? Please?
I would Very much appreciate it.

To have no menu or chaptering, you would drag the MPEG2 file to the First Play position. The video will play immediately. You'd only be able to fast forward and fast-rewind. The commercial DVD equivalent of First Play is typically the FBI/Copyright warning.
