When I try to use TMPGENC to convert an avi file to Mpeg1(vcd), captured with Premiere 6, I get file could not be opened or unsupported format. The issue is that the file plays just fine on windows media player.
I am running XP pro and feeling quite frustrated. The file was captured with the following specs:
32 KHz
16 bit stereo.
Any help would be appreciated

If you can load it into Virtual Dub, you can frameserve it to TMPGEnc. Or save it once you do load it into VDub. then you should be able to open it in TMPGEnc.
