  1. I'm trying to load a mpeg2 file in vdub and it give me an error "the file you are trying to load is wrapped in RIFF/CDXA file format which is not accepted by virtualdub, you will need vcdgear to convert back to mpeg", now I looked in vcdgear and I didn't find that option. I also tried to load it in tmpgenc and it won't load there, it just gets stuck. Any suggestions?

I am not familiar with vcdgear, I use cdxa2mpeg, that is part of the vcdimager package.
    usage (example):
    cdxa2mpg "c:\file.mpg" "d:\new_file.mpg"

However, VirtualDub wont load a MPEG-2 file. Create a dvd2avi project, convert with VFAPIconv and open that "pseudo" avi in VirtualDub. If you are not familiar with these tools, let me know.
