All,
I am about to buy a new computer system and want to buy the right video card for what I need. Basically I want to do a lot of video editing on this new PC. I want the ability to input/upload both analog and digital formats. I know that the ATI ALL IN WONDER 8500 has this ability, but that the Nvision cards do not. I also know that the Nvision cards are very popular. I also like the fact that ATI has a cable tv input.
What is the best avenue to take? Buy an ALL IN WONDER card, or buy the NVision and use another card IEEE card to capture analog video.
If you have any advice on what computer is best for this for around $2K, I would appreciate that. I was looking at Dell, but not anymore. I am thinking about ABS.com or Ibuypower.com.
Thanks in advance.
