    I have a Ferguson/Thomson DVD400FE player. I have enabled it to play VCD but it won't play CD-R. I've ripped VCDs with Nero on my CDrw but these new CD-r wont play in the DVD player.. Any ideas...

    check player compatibility , make sure your making vcd 2.0 , try using different cd-rs and try burining it slow
