  1. I have question? I want to covert a MP3 into a MPEG-2. Ok I am sure you can do it but the real important question is. Will a MP3 converted Mpeg-2
    play?

    hmmm. not sure what to make of this.. Are you referring to Mpeg1 Layer 2? (which is used for audio in vcds and svcds) or are you referring to Mpeg2 (which is for video only). What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

    I want to play a audio book HUGE 400 meg sigle file on my DVD player and I cant play mp3s but can play Mpegs.

    hmm well once again, you didn't mention how long it actually is. One solution (its kinda far fetched), is to load the audio file into tmpgenc and then for the video, just load a picture or something. use the svcd template and then lower the video bitrate to 2k/sec (that is incredably low, but thats the point)

    Also, this will only work if your dvd player can play svcds (since the video can be variable bitrate...vcd cannot)

    doing the math, with a video bitrate of 2k/s , you should be able to fit 400 minutes on one disc

    Not sure if a dvd player can handle such a low bitrate on video, but its definitely worth a shot.
