Does anyone with a Leadtek (or other TV capture card) have a problem with hissing/popping with the audio out? At first, I thought it may be the onboard Realtek audio that the Leadtek is connected to through the line-in since I have heard others complain about onboard audio and other audio cards. However, if I plug my speaker into the audio out of the Leadtek, I still get the same hissing and popping. I had this card in a different system and would always hear the hissing during bootup. But once the system was fully up and drivers loaded, the hissing stopped (there was still a very slight hiss, but nothing to worry about). I have now built a new system with an ABIT IT7 board hoping it's "legacy free" architecture would be ideal for stability and performance. The hissing does not stop when the system is up and running.
I had a SB Live in my older system and may take it out and put in this one just in case it is the sound card. But with my speakers plugged into the Leadtek, I would think that would rule out the onboard audio.
