When I use the latest TMPGEnv versions such as 2.20 to 2.57 (plus and normal), I get read error from source 1 out of 2 times. When making svcd CBR or VBR.
I can try the same divx file in an older tmpge version such as 1.2i, then I never get the same error, and the quality is "almost" the same.
Anyone of you out there have the same problem with the newer versions, and is there a way to fix it?
Remember, there is not a "floating decimal error, or illegal", so there is acctually nothing wrong with the divx file, the divx file is also tested in Virtual Dub.
Seems like the newer versions is more sensitive than the older ones.

I've been using the latest version for SVCD, and towards the end I always get a stream read error. The encode seems to be OK, but when I try to multiplex it again with 2.57, I also get a stream read error. However, if I use an earlier version I can multiplex it fine. So, for now I am not using 2.57 for SVCD. 8)
