  1. I have too large .avi files to burn to a 700 MB CD. My burner cannot handle 800 MB Cds so all Im left with is cutting the files down a bit to fit. I followed the guide 'Cutting .avi' under the 'EDIT' section of this homepage. However, when I try to load the files into VirtualDub 1.4.10 (the latest version) I get the following messeges dependin on what file I try to load:

    Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MP43' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4 V3)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

    OR

    Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MPG4' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

    OR

    Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIV3' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4 V3 [Hack: DivX Low-motion])
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

So how do I get these codec? How can I get the fils to load?
    Thank you,

    Crim

If anything that would be ASF not AVI.. Install the Nimo codec pack, that comes with all hacked codecs including M$ MPEG-4 V2,3,4
