NEW Hauppage Win TV GO problems

Hi, i seem to be having some troubles.

I just got a win tv card and installed it perfectly. everything like the software and capturing through my cam works, but there is no sound. there doesnt seem to be a audio input (white) socket for my cam, only the yellow video socket. The card has a audio lead which plugs into my sound cards line in, How can this record the sound from my cam? I can get sound from TV channels but not the cam.

Also the instruction booklet tells me to set the tv channel reciever to PAL I but there is not such available option in the drop down menu, all the other pal channels for europe and south america are there, but no UK pal.

Many, Many thanks to anyone who can help me out here.

What other outputs does your cam have? Does it have a miniplug output(looks like a headphone plug)? Feel free to e-mail me for help, or keep posting here.

If the tuner don't support UK PAL, then you have only one alternative and needs a dedicated VCR....

Don't use the aerial connections, you gonna need to use the RCA ones or (if you are lucky and your card have it) the S-Video ones.

Now, go to your VCR and extract the video signal from the EuroScart, using an adaptor. Those adaptors are cheap and give you 2 alternatives: RCA and S-Video. Better use S-Video if you can.
Connect those cables now, direct to your card. That way you gonna have picture, no audio.
    For audio, do this:
Connect the 2 RCA Audio out jacks of your VCR to the Line In of your soundcard.

For capturing, you gonna use a program called Virtualdub. You can point to the program where is your audio source. Point the line In of your soundcard and you are OK

If you don't want to use the line in of your soundcard, you can use the MIC line. But if you do, low very much the audio. Also, keep in mind that that way, the audio may be not good...

I think i know whats going on, i need to buy an adaptor for the white lead that converts it into the headphone sized jack so it will fit into the audio in in the tv card. thanks for the replies.
