No drivers are needed to run DV-Bridge. It should act like a dv-cam and would only need to be used for capture and export. XP has all the drivers to run it. Check your Device Manager, you should have, Imaging Devices and an AVC Compliant DV tape recorder/player. That's the DV-Bridge. If you're missing codecs, reinstall Premiere it has all the codecs you'll need except for like DiVX.

yup i know thats what it says...BUT it recognizes it fine but i've tried this b4 w/ n w/o the drivers, my light on the brige won't turn green( i think ) until the drivers r installed and it won't play in premier unless the drivers r installed....its weird i have no idea why but when i install the drivers it recognizes hella shit then i reset and everything works fine....it just won't work w/o them........o yea i'm capturing from a sony minidisc cam, like i said it works perfect w/ the drivers
