VirtualDub - Cropping

OK, so I'm doing some cropping with VirtualDub. And whatever I do, I can't crop the left and right sides. I'm trying to cut 6 units off of the left, and 21 units off of the right. Then I re-encode with DivX Low-Motion.

So that's exactly what I do. And I open it up. Once I start to play it, it has an error, and it comes up with that window, where it asks you to save some kind of text file about the error.

I can crop the top and bottom perfectly fine, but not the sides. Anyone know why now?

Did you scan the AVI for junk frames before you do any work on the movie ?

Sounds like you are cropping but not resizing. DivX should preferably be be multiples of 16. Just any old size will not work.
