ok, this is probably a stupid question and an eassily answered one but here it is:
I boutght a new hard drive. ttriend to transfer all the ripping connverting and whatever files to the new drive. just for the extra room. i transferred the program files but left the ripped vobs and avi files on the other drive too large to drag over. anywho, i went to convert avi to mepg in tempgenc and tempgenc stated that the format is not supported? huh? so then i dragged one of the versions of tempgenc over to original drive thinking the fiels might have to be in the smae directory. no such luck. same error. but i couldn't rememeber if there was a codec i should have dragged over with tempgenc or if there is another problem entirely. hope this post made sense. can anyone please help me. these fiels converted and worked beofre by the way. but now they don't work. i am at my wits ends. please anyone help me.
