    Is it possible to watch region 2 DVD movies if I crack my region 2 DVD player to region 1.

    DVD player is a Phillips 711.

    It should be possible to crack it in the menu.

    yeah, if you crack it and change the region to 0 or 2, they will play.

    Make sure you have a menu though, because some dvd's from regioin 1 won't play if the player is region 0, so it's useful to have a bypass or region 1 option
