    Hi,

Now i might be a bit stupid in asking this. But if TMPEGnc is freeware, how come we only get to use the MPEG2 encoding function for 30 days, freeware means free so all the use of all the filters should be free as well.

Also is there a way of removing this 30 day evalution period thing from the mpeg 2 filter.

Now for the Second question, i've just downloaded CCE 2.50 from Doom9'site, i encoded a avi to mpeg 2 for about 10 mins as a test.

When playing back this test i notice that the Cinema Craft Logo was in the bottom left the screen, Is there anyway of removing this from it.

I think i can use that Logo Away filter in Virtual Dub but i'm not sure if it will work on mpeg's, and to tell the truth i really don't know how to use it.

I tried following the guide at the homepage for the filter but got lost after the first paragraph "LOL".

So any help would be welcomed

    Thanks in advance

The author of TMPGen did not know until recently that the codec for SVCD (MPEG-2) was copyrighted by someone else. He had to agree to either pay or limit its use in his program to 30 days. He tries to come up with a new version within that time period to start the 30 day clock again.

Sounds like you have the uncracked trial version of CCE. Uncracked trial version will show the logo on all output.

    Hope this helps.
