While viewing a VCD movie I had converted from an AVI file (using TMPGEnc)..... the screensaver on my GE DVD Player keeps popping up while the movie is playing. The sound can be heard but no video shows until I until I press the "go back to video" button on my remote. This happens every several minutes until the end of the movie.
This is my first attempt at encoding and I am also a newbie at DVD players. All else is great... A/V is in sync, great picture quality, etc.
Anyone heard of this problem before and what would cause this?
I had just bought this DVD player and have no other VCD to test it with. I suppose it could be a defective player even?
I don't know.... I'm lost and searching for the solution. Thank You for any advice or help you can offer.![]()

There must be setup options button on your remote.
Just check and see if you can disable the screensaver there.
