  1. Im having trouble with my internet connection. When i leave imesh or kazaa downloading i start of with really good speeds but within an hour or so i get next to nothing or disconnected.Ive been in touch with my isp(ntlworld) and they have got it down to a resourses problem.I have Xp and a 1.8 Athalon with 256k of ddr.I ran xp device manager and watched under performances, there is a catagory there that says physical memory and as imesh is downloading it getting less and less.It started out at about 140,000 and i watched it for about 25min and it got to 5000 but then seemed to get some memory from somewhere and go back to about 100,000.I am just wondering if when it gets that low it starts to shut things down which are just running in the background(imesh and kazaa).Im not really sure how this works but would windows xp do this?.Please help i dont seem to be getting anywhere.
    Thanks in advance.

  2. If you mean just your downloading speed, then I can explain it. Kazaa automatically starts to slow down the amount you get once you are almost done with the file, like say you download a 4MB MP3, when you get to like 35seconds left, it will suddenly slow down and put you back at 1.5mins. Same for a movie, it switches a good bit of your speed off. A way to get it back is right click on the item downloading and select FIND MORE SOURCES. This will force kazaa to look for more hosts again, when it finds them, your speed goes up. Rest assured this happens ALOT on the kazaa network.
