recording to vhs

Is it possible to record a dvd onto a vhs? I have a mintek 1600 dvd player. Thanks

if the dvd doesn't use macrovision copy protection, you can hook up the composite or s-video directly to the vcr and copy it. if the dvd does use macrovision, you need something like the sima copymaster http://www.videoguys.com/sima.htm to put between the dvd player and the vcr.
