I am using TMPeng to convert. I have done this several times. The movie I am converting will play fine with video/audio in Win Media player. I choose the movie file in tmpeng. The file will show up in the video line but the audio line is blank. I try to rip the audio using virtual dub and it says
"The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format"
Anyone one have ideas?
TIA

48khz ripped audio trying to be converted to 44.1khz audio without downsampling. Best choice encode to 48khz by changing sampling frequency under settings, audio. ACM station and SoundForge will downsample 44.1k if you must but you are asking for sync problems.
