Hello VCDHelpers
I have a quick one (I think)
I am trying to capture some tapes, I have no Macrovision issues. This tape I am playing is a home movie, or dubbed from TV. I play them from a Camcorder or a VCR to my 8500DV. No matter what I set my contrast on the capture or even just watching the video goes from dark to light over and over again (brightness tends to oscillate between bright and normal over and over again).
All the latest drivers have been installed.
I tried this with ATI's
Windows XP Display Drivers CATALYST™ 02.1 (This is the source of low contrast or some Gamma trouble, everything gets very dark on the desktop) I went back to original on CD after this.
Windows XP Capture Drivers 6.13.10.6125 (This seemed to fix a lot of Dropped frames in the ATI Multimedia Center)
Multimedia Center
7.5 No Workie
7.6 No Workie
7.7 Latest No Work
I have searched this forum and found that other people have complained about the same thing, but I did not see any fixes?
