A few months ago I made an SVCD for a friend and he was able to watch it just fine on his Mac (encoded using Nero with the dat from the bin file). Recently I made another SVCD for him, which I can watch it fine on my PC, but he can't view it on his Mac. Is there some reason why an SVCD would work on a PC and not on a Mac? I can't remember which blank CDs I was using months ago when I made that SVCD for him. I have a feeling it is different from what I'm using now. Is it possible that CDs that are encoded work on a PC, but those same CDs won't work on a Mac? If so, does anyone know of brands of CDs that will work on both PC and Mac?
If that's not the problem, does anyone else have any ideas? I encoded it two different ways just in case it was the way I was encoding it. I wanted to see if it worked either way--using the cue/bin to encode the CD and using Nero to burn the dat file extracted from the bin file. I am using Memorex 700 Mb/80 Minute CDs....
It's driving me crazy! *sigh*
