Hi
I have been trying without much success now for a few weeks to make a short film from DV video clips taken with a Sony TRV-20e.
I am using Media Studio 6.5 DC, I can do the entire editing successfully but it’s the final encoding I am having trouble with. I get feathery lines round anything that is moving quickly, video seems to judder and always the final encoded quality is far from anything like the original clips.
I have used TMPEnc on one of my clips and followed an article by Rui del-***** / Azul SPI (Configuring TMPGEnc for high-quality, DVD-compliant MPEG-2) and the final results are stunning, but when I try to do any editing with the clips, when finished, media studio encodes it again and I end up with the same problem as before.
If there was some way of doing my editing with Media Studio on the original clips and getting it to save the finished result without any encoding, then I could use TMPEnc to do the final conversion to MPEG-2, is this at all possible?
Thanks in advance for any help![]()
