    I have HP 8200 USB External cdrw drive and I just bought a Liteon 401248S Internal cd rw drive.

    Now I can see only Lite on Drive in Nero ( ChooseRecorder Menu ).
    I can not select USB cd writer.

    any one tell me what is wrong?

    OS : Win XP Prof
    Nero 5.5.9

    I have the same burner (HP 8200 series), and Nero didn't like it. I eventually got the same Lite-On burner that you have and it works fine. Is there a reason that you can't use the Lite-On?

    I am able to use Lite On. I was just trying to find out why I am not able to use HP. When I install Liton drive , nero detects only liteon ..

    update to the newest version of Nero.

    I'm not guaranteeing this will work but the newer the version, the more burners it supports
