    When I'm encoding avi files into mpeg files, the sound stutters a bit. When I play the file as an avi file it works fine. Can someone help.

    To understand somewhat more what problem you are facing, could you say in what you watched the finished mpeg feed?
    And could you specify what "audio settings" you were using and what was the finished product meant to be VCD, mpeg1 stream?
