    Yes it is possible.

    However, you will have to convert the mpg into a ps2 compatible file using a little proggie which was released last year.

    It is a HUGE hassle and takes forever. It is not worth it!

    if You convert the file, as mentioned, it is no longer a VCD. The question was will it play VCD, the answer is no, not at the moment although there may be an add on in the future like there was for the PS1

    Yes it is, BUT the only way i have ever seen this possible was shown to me by a friend who had put three vcd films on a dvd-r and added professional looking menus, and he was selling them at a computer fair. kepp your eyes open and you might be pleasantly surprised.
