I have just bought a DVD player and tried writing a VCD & SVCD file only to suffer Audio sync problems when playing back on my standalone DVD player. I then followed instructions on this site to correct audio sync and wrote a quick file to test it and it improved it - almost perfect.
My long term aim is to upgrade my writer to a DVD writer and copy my edited captures to DVD.
Is there someone out there who can advise if DVD writing suffers similar audio sync problems or should it just be a straight forward burn to a DVD?
Many Thanks.

i have made a million DVD's and have never experienced synch problems my only suggestion is look around and get yourself a good dvd authoring program.
