  2. 1. All the mpgs have to be compliant and of the SAME format to join.
    2. TMPGEnc is AWESOME tool.
    a. start TMPGEnc cancel or dont use the WIZARD.
    c. At the bottom VIDEO SOURCE > BROWSE find your 1st mpg.
    d. Select a OUTPUT file name and location.
    e. hit the LOAD button and LOAD this file from the TEMPLATE FOLDER > VideoCD (NTSC).mcf
    f. now hit SETTINGS button
    g. VIDEO TAB > set motion search precision to HIGH QUALITY.
    h. ADVANCE TAB > SOURCE ASPECT RATIO set to 4:3 display.
    i. you can CLIP the frame if ya like to get rid of the crap black bands and garbage.
    j. DON'T play with anything ELSE until YOU get braver.
    3. SAY OK > CLICK START > good luck commander !

  3. OK now commander that will allow to to make all your mpgs compliant and the exact same.. SOOOOOOOOO..... now we can join them all together.

    1. start TMPGEnc again BYPASS wizard.
    2. CLICK > FILE > MPEG TOOLS
    3. click MERGE AND CUT TAB
    4. for type select MPEG-1 video CD fromthe DROP down list.
    5. click the ADD button and LOCATE all your mpgs to join.
    6. give it an OUTPUT file name, browse if you like to locate a folder to store the final file in.
    7. click RUN

Now if you did everything i told you right in the previous message.
you'll have a JOINED compliant mpg file that can be burned using
VCDeasy and it will look marvelous.

BTW there are many things you can do in TMPGEnc in the SETTINGS
MPG settings box like fix colors, reduce noise, deinterlace etc..

    hope this helps.

I used tmpgenc to make the actual mpegs, and you have shown the steps above on how to join them. Now here's the question: If I join the 2 mpegs together with the "join", will I lose picture quality since I am now making another "generation"?
