  1. If I just put the VIDEO_TS folder in the new dvd part. I get the error. If I have the VIDEO_TS folder in another folder and put that in toast, it will burn, but then this disc doesn't appear to be playable on a regular dvd player.

    Anybody?

    Thanks

  2. If I take the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder and place it into Toast, it will burn. the only time I have the error, is if I put the VIDEO_TS folder with its contents in it into toast and try to burn.

    What do you think?

  4. have you tried adding an audio_ts folder alonside the video_ts one? it doesn't have to have anything in it, and doesnt necesarily need to b there, but toast might want to see it.

  5. Yes, tried that and still get the error. I think it is something to do with the VIDEO_TS folder itself. If I take the contents out of it and put just those contents into Toast, there is no problem. But, without being in the VIDO_TS folder a regular DVD player won't read it. Not sure what else to try. hoping someone on here has some ideas.

    thanks

  7. Not sure about your specific problem, but I do know that the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders have to be at the root of the DVD. If they are anywhere else (inside another folder, etc) they will not play on a DVD player.

  8. Yes, I select toast DVD, then new dvd, then put the VIDEO_TS folder in. If I hit record, or even save as image, I get the error.

Try this. Create a folder with the name of what you want your DVD to be called. Next inside this folder place yuor video_TS nd Audio_TS folders. Then select the DVD option on toast, but don't choose New DVD. Instead drag the folder that holds the video_ts and audio_ts into toast. It should then auto create the dvd using the folder you just drug into it.

  10. Ok, I'll try it. That will make a DVD that is readable by a regular DVD player?

    I'll try it now.

    Thanks

  11. Tried that, and still got the memory error. I am running a G4, with 768mb of physical ram. I am sure that memory is nto the real problem here. One person suggested that I r-install OSX. I gotta admit that I am pretty scared to do this. I also would have a ton fo stuff to back-up first. This sucks.

Thanks for any more help you may have.
