after download of a episode wich should fit on a cd. but if i try it on nero then it goes over the 80 min line (8o min cd-r). When i cut some dead part from the episodes and save it with womble, then when i import it with nero then it says compatibility problem.

SVCD on a 80 min cd

  2. How long is the episoed? If it's in SVCD and longer than about 40 minutes it's not going to fit on 1 cd.

When is a minute not a minute?

Sometimes when measuring the size of a mode 2 cd. The nero indicator converts the size of the image to be burned to 'minutes' as in 80 min on a 700mb disc. Depending on the burner you can fit over 800 mb of audio or mpeg video (1+2) and audio, some way over, some not so much. You may have a XSVCD with only 20 minutes of length that the indicator says is 79 "min".

it's a 63 minute svcd, but why do the creators say it can fit on a 80 minit cd

  5. A simple re-mux in TMPGeng will make it so that Nero will accept the file. Be sure to re-mux as a SVCD. For this to fit on an 80 minute cd, the bitrate must be 1513 kbps. When you re-mux, TMPGenc will show you it's bitrate, if it's over 1513, that's why it won't fit on a CD.

re-mux is that in tmpgENC simple mutlitplex de-multiplex or what is it ?????

  8. Use multiplex, not simple multiplex. No need to demultiplex it first, which you would have to do if you used simple multiplex. You just multiplex the file, and change the output file name to anything you want like "filename-mux".
