I just thought I got the hang of everything when using TMPG. When I tryed to encode 2 films from AVI to VCD I found the sound didn`t come through. So I checked here and found you had use Virtua Dub to strip the sound to wave form then load it up into TMPC again with the Vid to sort that out. It did, A treat. I did this with both films then when I came to put the 2nd CD of each film in my Standalone player I noticed the sound was out of sync by a good 5 seconds. Is that a common problem.
I encoded it by using stting, source, for the first part (start , end in middle)
And for the second (start middle, end at end)
PS I did think the sound was a lot better. Is it better to use Vitua Dub to strip the sound for all AVIs that you want to convert.
