ifoedit error

i'm having trouble editing any ripped dvd's.

While trying to split it with Ifoedit at around 50% completion of the split i get a "Error wrting File!" error. I do not know the cause of this error. I have been following the guide on Codesss's site.

I am suspecting it is caused by my newly installed Promise TEch. ATA100 tx2 controller card which the harddrive that is being ripped to is connected.

If you guys could shed some light on this for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

How are you trying to split it? If you are using the "split to 2 dvd's" that's not a good idea (so I am told). If you want to split a > 4.7 gig movie into 2 dvd's there are guides that explain how to do it on this site, as well as on digital-digest.com.
