i would like an answer or a work around for this as well. i can open and load files just fine, but after viewing an id and trying to stop it, it always crashes. would like to use it more often because it can be very helpful, but damn loading the files over everytime i view an ID is a royal pain

I believe that Vobrator uses the DirectShow drivers loaded on your system. It is probably these drivers crashing (especially on a W2000K system). Vobrator isn't hooking into these drivers well, either. I can only START a clip and END a clip without the display driver pixelating really bad. However, Vobrator is a very useful tool, even with its limitations.
You guys can try reloading something that uses the DirectShow drivers again (I use PowerDVD for this). I find that there are some programs that INSIST on intercepting the preferred driver and replacing it with its "inferior" driver (my capture card program, for instance). -
I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're saying.
I have Vobrator installed on two seperate XP machines and it crashes on both whenever I try to use it to play a clip.I don't have a bad attitude...
