Personally, I use VCDEasy. Load your MPGs, go to "Chapters", and "Create a chapter at".

You can also use TSCV. But, I prefer VCDEasy.

    Pals,

    You probably missed my question.
I know how to burn chapters, my question was how to manually create chapters to a video who don't include chapters in its source, like a movie captured from a tuner.

    Take care

What kind of chapters are you looking for? True chapters are just entrypoints imaged into the VCD/SVCD disc. With these you just push the >> button on your remote or use a numeric entry to jump to specific points in the video. These you do as my original post indicates. If you mean menu type chapters where you select the chapter from an on-screen menu, the easiest way is using Ulead DVDMovieFactory. They have a free trial at http://www.ulead.com/dmf/trial.htm. But the $45.00 is well spent considering the simplicity of use.

  6. You can "manually" enter chapters with VCDEasy.

  7. Hey Digifreak,

I'm capturing with MoveFactory with scene split set but when I scan for scenes after it doesn't find any. Just the one single clip. It says it can detect scenes based on date. What is the trick ? I'm capturing from a DV cam with firewire connect. The manual has little about this.
