Hi,
I have been having problems playing a vcd (chinese but supposed to be universal) on my universal DVD Player. I do get sound but, I can't get the picture to stay still from scrolling. When I look at the DVD unit display it starts on Track 2 and has a pbc below it. Does anyone know what this means or how I can remedy this problem. I would appreciate it. Thanks

PBC standands for Playback Control, I don't think that is the cause of your problem, as my Pioneer and Akai DVD's have that feature enabled and VCD's play well so far, what you would want to check is how the VCD was made, and if it's fully standard, that might cause a problem for some DVD's.
