    I am trying to choose between the following:

    Terapin $300
    Likko VDR2100 $500

    The Likko offers SVCD recording and the Terapin does not. ANy comments from owners of either of these? Or another model that I should consider? Thanks.

    I just recently purchased a Terapin from Ebay for $237 and have started to make copies from dvds and they have come out great. I haven't tried making copies from vhs,tv,or camcorder yet. But that will be my next project.

    I am also looking at the Amoisonic VDR2000 for $475

    I have a 43" 16:9 HDTV monitor as well.

    I think Mpeg2 would be better at 350 lines versus 250 lines for VCD....

    I plan on copying my VHS collection to disc as well as copying tv programs....
