  1. when ever i use TMPGEnc to convert avi to mpeg , i then create a vcd using NTI CD maker 2000 pro version .it creates a vcd for me ,to my horror , when i play on my dvd i get good sound but NO picture .can someone please help me sort out this problem

  2. I believe there is a guide here to help you out. The way I would do it is open the *.avi file in VirtualDub to extract the audio from the *.avi then go to TMPGenc and load your template (VCD, SVCD, whatever) and add the full *.avi as the video and the extracted *.wav file for the audio. I've used it before with great success. Look in the guides section of this page for the details and settings to do it like I've described. It's very easy. Good Luck!
