  1. I am trying to rip an 84 minutes long PAL movie, using DVDx and TMPGEnc. Everything seems in order. Both programs report 100% done, and the resulting MPEG is 84 minutes long. However, it ends a few minutes too early in the movie.

    Any clues?

  2. Can you please tell me how you were able to make DVDx 2.0 and TMPGenc to work properly?

How did you install the VideoServerPlugin?

    I tried following this: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdx-tmpg.htm

but I can't find the CM-avisynth.prm in the files.

When I click on DVDx to encode it gives a donation warning. When I pass the additions test it somehow "works" but when I start TMPGenc and browse for the output file of DVDx, it crashes.

I hope we can help each other out.

  3. I don't quite remember, but I know I didn't have any problems.

IIRC, I just unzipped the videoserver archive in the dvdx directory and it worked. Please note, I am not using AVIsynth, but AVI wrapper. There is no CM-avisynth.prm file, but a cm-videoserver.prm.

Output settings: Premiere plugin encoder: Video Server
Plug settings: Frame server: Server mode: AVI wrapper
Plug settings: Frame server: WRAPPER Server settings: Filename: C:\My Documents\DVDx.avi
Plug settings: Frame server: WRAPPER Server settings: Normal audio export

    In TMPGEnc, open C:\My Documents\DVDx.avi.

    Good luck!
